Lenses for optical systems and equipment
We manufacture a complete range of precision spherical lenses, available as single elements or assembled into achromatic doublets or triplets to form achromatic optical systems that minimise chromatic aberration and deliver high performance across all spectra (UV, VIS, and IR).
We produce lenses with diameters ranging from 2 mm to 440 mm, with surface quality up to 10-5 (S&D) and centring accuracy down to 10 arc seconds.
Spherical lenses are made from standard and specialty optical glass, with a variety of geometries including: plano-convex lenses, plano-concave lenses, biconvex lenses, biconcave lenses, meniscus lenses (positive-negative) and aplanatic lenses.
Single Lenses
Single spherical lenses are used in both standard and custom optical systems. Available in various geometries.
Doublets
Two lenses combined with different refractive indices and dispersions, glued together to correct chromatic aberration.
