In 2019, we expanded our cleanroom space to a total of 75\u202fm\u00b2 in ISO Class 7. This contamination\u2011free environment is entirely dedicated to <strong>surface treatments on optical components<\/strong> and the assembly of complex optical systems.<\/p>\n<p>Our company operates two Optotech PVD coating machines. <strong>The OPTOTECH OAC<\/strong><strong>\u2011<\/strong><strong>90F is our most recent addition<\/strong>: a computer\u2011controlled <strong>evaporative PVD<\/strong> <strong>system<\/strong> with CRYO pump, ion source, and plasma assistance. This machine, unique in Italy, allows for the deposition of multiple, effectively unlimited layers (within physical limits) with maximal precision, each layer is calibrated using real measurements from the previous layer rather than theoretical values (recipe\u2011based). This approach enables us to \u2018tune\u2019 each coating layer on the basis of actual measured values, achieving absolute degrees of precision.
